Yes. The feeding port design physically prevents bees, wasps, and yellow jackets from reaching the nectar — their tongues simply aren't long enough. Combined with the double ant moat for crawling insects, this is the most complete insect protection available in a hummingbird feeder. Twist off the base and rinse thoroughly with hot water. For deeper cleaning, use a mild vinegar solution (1:4 vinegar to water). The entire feeder is dishwasher safe. We recommend cleaning every time you refill — the twist-off design makes this a 30-second job.
