Frequently asked questions

How does this hummingbird feeder keep bees and wasps out?

The feeding ports use a bee- and wasp-proof design that creates a physical barrier insects cannot get past, while still giving hummingbirds easy access to the nectar.

What stops ants from getting into the nectar?

A double ant moat blocks crawling insects before they can reach the feeding ports — no oils or chemicals needed.

How many hummingbirds can feed at the same time?

The feeder has 5 feeding stations, so several hummingbirds can drink at once.

What nectar should I use?

Mix 1 part plain white sugar with 4 parts water — no red dye, no honey, and no sugar substitutes, which can harm hummingbirds. Let it cool before filling the 20 fl oz reservoir.

How often should I change the nectar?

Every 1–2 days in hot weather (daily above 90°F) and every 2–3 days in cooler conditions, giving the feeder a rinse at each change. The built-in UV sunshade helps slow spoilage between changes.

How do I refill it?

Through the quick easy-filling port — you do not need to take the feeder apart for everyday refills.

Is it easy to clean?

Yes — it opens simply for cleaning, which encourages the regular maintenance hummingbirds need.

What colors does it come in?

Yellow Petals or Purple Petals — vibrant flower designs that help attract hummingbirds.

Are the materials safe for hummingbirds?

Yes — the feeder is made of non-toxic materials for the safety of both the nectar and the birds.

Sound Familiar?

You Put Out Nectar for Hummingbirds. Bees and Ants Got There First.

You mixed the nectar. You hung the feeder. You waited by the window. Instead of hummingbirds, you got a swarm of yellow jackets and a line of ants marching straight to the sugar water. The hummingbirds took one look and flew on by.

Engineered Protection

Three Layers of Defense.
Zero Insects.

Most feeders rely on one method to keep insects out. PestOff uses three integrated systems working together — so bees, wasps, and ants never reach the nectar.
01

Double Ant Moat

Two separate water barriers stop ants and crawling insects before they reach the nectar. Most feeders have one moat — or none at all. PestOff has two.
✦ Most effective ant defense available
02

Bee-Proof Port Design

Feeding ports are engineered so only a hummingbird's long tongue can reach the nectar. Bees, wasps, and yellow jackets physically cannot access the sugar water.
✦ No bolt-on bee guards needed
03

UV Sunshade

The tulip-shaped canopy blocks UV rays and weather, keeping nectar fresh up to twice as long. Spoiled nectar attracts more insects — fresh nectar attracts more hummingbirds.
✦ Unique to Roamwild

Fill It. Hang It. Watch the Magic.

Fill It. Hang It.
Watch the Magic.

1

Fill

Mix 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. Pour through the large-mouth opening — no fumbling, no funnel needed. 20 fl oz keeps hummingbirds happy for days.

2

Hang

Hook the stainless steel hanger on any pole, branch, or shepherd's hook. Place in a shaded spot near flowers for best results.

3

Enjoy

Watch Ruby-throated, Anna's, and Rufous Hummingbirds feed in peace — while bees and ants learn they're not invited. That's the PestOff difference.

Bonus Feature

Quick-fill top-up port lets you add nectar without taking the feeder down.

Built Different

Every Detail, Considered

Double Ant Moat Technology

Two independent water-filled moats create a barrier for ants, earwigs and crawling insects. Even if one moat runs dry in the heat, the second moat keeps protecting your nectar.

the defense of single-moat feeders

Tulip-Shaped UV Sunshade

The integrated canopy shields nectar from direct UV rays — the primary cause of nectar fermentation. Fresher nectar means healthier hummingbirds and fewer insects attracted by spoilage. The tulip shape also prevents larger birds from landing on top and fouling the feeder.
2×
longer nectar freshness

rain, UV, and unwanted birds

20 fl oz Large Capacity

Fill less often. The 20 fl oz reservoir holds enough nectar to keep hummingbirds fed for days, even during peak migration when multiple birds visit throughout the day.

Twist-Off Easy Clean Design

The simple twist-off base separates completely — no narrow necks, no hard-to-reach areas where mold hides. Every surface is accessible for thorough cleaning. Dishwasher safe. Because the #1 rule of hummingbird feeding is keeping things clean.

UV-Resistant Polycarbonate + Stainless Steel

Constructed from unbreakable, UV-resistant polycarbonate that won't yellow or crack in the sun. Stainless steel hanging hook won't rust — even through years of rain, snow, and humidity. This isn't a feeder you replace every spring.

Love the hummingbird feeders, fast shipping and when my first order came and the hangers would stay on, they replaced the feeders. I will definitely buy from them again

We haven’t had any hummingbirds drink from this since we bought it!

We’re so excited for the new feeder. It looked like it was wonderfully made. I took downone of my old feeders for the new one and the birds won’t touch it. I took down the otherold one and left just the new one for a week not one bird drank out of it.
I thought maybe it was my birds since they were used to the old ones. I gave my mother the feeder as she’s never had a hummingbird feeder in her new backyard even though we’ve seen lots of hummingbirds zipping by her patio she put it up, and the birds hated it approached it, but never drank out of it.
Disappointed because I spent a lot of money compared to my other two inexpensive models that the birds just love.

I can tell already that this will be the best hummingbird feeder I’ve ever owned. Such quality and excellent design! Can’t wait to see the birds that find it … and the ants that don’t!! 😀

I love this hummingbird feeder ! First one I’ve ever had that the ants and bugs really can’t get into !! I’ve bought so many hummingbird feeders that said no bees no ants can get in it! They’ve all failed! This one didn’t I’ll probably but another one !! Thank you for ths great product! Only thing i found now is the rubber around the bottom where the necter goes in is stretched out ! Didn’t notice it the first time now its an issue ! Jodee

My hummingbirds wanted nothing to do with this feeder. I have 3 other feeders. I swapped the location of a feeder that they used every day with this feeder, and they did not want anything to do with it. I even pulled the other feeders to see if they would just go to this one and they didn't want to use it. They do not pay for return shipping. So keep that in mind if you buy a product that it doesn't work. And you want to send it back, you have to pay for the shipping to send it back.

I have had birds come to it already. I love how easy it is to clean.

M

It seems well made and easy to fill a clean. My birds however, will not eat out of it. I even tried taking all my other feeders down but itll and the still wont. I will keep it up and hopefully they will get used to it. Has been 4 days at this point so I dont know. The quality is excellent so still hoping they'll eat out of it eventually.

Terrible quality, the hummingbirds didn’t use it and it fell apart because the gasket was too loose.

Very nice quality feeders.

Best ever!

Keeps the wasps out and the hummingbirds love it. 4 stars because you have to fill it all the way in order for the hummingbirds to reach it. If it goes less than half full they cant reach in, so i have to fill it more often and more goes to waste. Otherwise it works great and they like to sit and eat.

Best Hummingbird Feeder Ive ever purchased!

Our hummingbirds hated it. Was too deep compared to our other feeders. I cleaned it and reboxxed it
