How do PestOff squirrel proof feeders work?

Every feeding port is individually spring-loaded. When anything heavier than a songbird lands, that port snaps shut and blocks the seed; on multi-port feeders only that port closes, so birds on the other ports keep feeding. There is nothing to calibrate: the ports respond to weight automatically. Single-spring feeders close all their ports at once and have to be adjusted by hand.

Where should I hang a squirrel proof feeder?
